Identification

I have my grandfathers shotgun and know nothing about it. Since he was born in 1880 I am assuming the weapon is turn of the century of before.It is a Remington double barreled 12 ga. with double scroll hammers . The serial number is 219364. Unfortunatetly, Pap never was one to take care of things and this gun is living proof of it. I am about to pass this gun on to my nephew and would like to give him some info. Much thanks. George
