I have a 40-x with a barrel code KQ and SN 063111 B. Barrel is light weight sporter rather than heavy target. Stock is HS Precision. Does that SN match the time range of the barrel? Any way to tell if it's an original configuration?
Darn I figured someone would have a general idea where the SN would land time wise. It just seems to me like the barrel is a lot older than the rest of the rifle. Leupold scope on it dates to 2010.
Receiver is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight. Any idea when they quit doing that?
