Remington Lee 1899 magazine
Hello I have a very nicely sporterized Michigan National Guard Remington Lee 1899 which sadly has no magazine. I get that I may never find one, and would like to make a display replica of wood that I can put in the rifle for appearance sake. Might there be someone out there who would be willing to send me some detailed photos of a correct magazine that I could use to guide me? I would be very grateful. Email is schmidlapfred@gmail.com.

Have you tried a simple image search? I got this in a quick search just now:

And also a magazine for sale, but crazy expensive at $415!!

With a little bit of work, a Lee Enfield mag can be made to fit, it doesn’t quite look out of place.

I also wanted to throw out that I have a magazine for one of these rifles in 45-70govt I’d like to find a home for it, but I’d really like a 30-40 magazine in trade
