1894 Remington shotgun

Post by stockmaker270 »

Anybody have a left ejector spring for 1894/1900 12 gauge shotgun? The spring is found in the forearm, v spring about 1 1/2 inches long. Usual sources don't have one.

I’m a newbie here. The last time we had occasion to look for parts four a Remington double was a few decades ago. Back then, the “usual source” was a fellow named McKee (or perhaps (McGee?). I’m sure he is no longer in business, but I would be interested to know whether there are, indeed some “usual sources” for parts for Remington double.

I currently have my late father’s 1894 AEO and a 1900 with steel (R) barrels that I picked up at an auction. Right now they are both in good repair, but it would be nice to know where to find parts before they are needed for a broken gun.

By the way, does your screen name, stockmaker270 imply a service you can provide? That would be a good thing for me to know.

I am a stockmaker but retired and do work mostly on my own guns. Thanks for asking, still need an ejector spring for a 1894 12 double if any one has one or can direct me to one.
