Info on Model 7400 carbine-280rem
I have a Remington 7400 280rem carbine. Not much info out there on it. I've found they only made 2or3 hundred and they weren't cataloged. Like to see if it's valuable and/or collectable. Or any info actually. Thanks in advance.. I do have the box.

Nice. Keep that box. I find it odd the order number is so vastly different from the standard numbers. Seems to be dated Oct, 2001 but follows the 2002 5 digit order numbers. Is the build date stamped on the barrel?

That's all that's stamped on the barrel. And Model 7400 on the receiver.
Re: Info on Model 7400 carbine-280rem
no build date on left side of barrel, just the rep y on right side. Serial number matches, on right side of receiver next too 7400

Re: Info on Model 7400 carbine-280rem
The 17EV dates it to 17-Oct-2001. There were many uncatalogued versions, most for wholesalers that wanted something a little different than the other wholesalers were selling. This is a common practice. Value is probably not higher but in the same range as other carbines.

Thanks. I know about the wholesalers had a couple from Grice in Pa(7600's), but it always said Grice on the box label. That's what confused me,lol..
