Remington model 31 Lightweight
I have a Remington model 31 lightweight 20 gauge with solid rib barrel dated sept. 1947. I would like to know how many were made this way. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Such information is not available. I have a 12-gauge Model 31LA with a 30-inch solid rib barrel which makes it quite muzzle-heavy. I don't have a 1947 price list, but October 8, 1946, price list shows a Model 31 listed at $78.50 and the raised solid rib was $13.15 extra.
