10g e. remington & son

i have a E.Remington & son 10ga hammer gun it has twist barrels the top lever lifts up to open the gun (patent 1872 )it has 2 5/8 chambers and i think the s/n is 3487 it has the number 8 stamped on both barrels under side .i live in england and would like to sell the gun any ideas of cost or how to sell this in the USA .

Steve - It's difficult for an individual to import. However, that gun is not a firearm any more, it's an antique. Still a bunch of paperwork though.
Here are some sites that buy and sell internationally. You would of course be only getting about half the value. Lucky to put 100 pounds in your pocket.

It's indeed difficult and cost prohibitive for a individual unless your doing a batch of firearms
FOR MODERN but I import and export pre-1898 all the time. Put it in a box and drop
it at the post office and it's gone. In some countries people want specific stuff written on the
shipping forms like "antique over 100 years old value NNN" because of restrictions and taxes.
But stuff If gotten from Germany etc all I do is tell them put it in a box and tape it up good!
This is NOT breaking the law...

Value based on condition, condition, and condition... ;)
