Remington Model 10 Ejector Spring - Install Method

Post by mcgill »

Regarding the Remington Model 10 Ejector Spring. I need help figuring out how to install the spring into the top of the receiver.

I've seen 2 slightly different parts advertised as the rem Model 10 Ejector Spring. One sold by jackfirst and one sold by numrich. Both have the same shape and curve; the difference is one with a round hole and the other with a rectangular hole. Not sure if which one is correct, or perhaps either one will work.

What is the correct orientation of the spring? Where does the hole go? Does it curve downward?

How is the spring installed? How is the spring removed? I've seen some blogs mention a rivet, but I don't see where that a rivet would install. Seems like to may just slide into the channel

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

You'll get better results if you post this in the correct section, instead of the post 1898 Handgun section.
