Ken Blauch has died!

Post by nambujim »

Ken Blauch who literally wrote the book on the Model 14, 141, & 25 died
this morning (November 15th) at 1AM. Those of us that were lucky enough
to know him personally have lost a dear friend.

While I never met Ken in person, I talked to him several times on the phone. He was always willing to share his vast knowledge of Remington CF Pump rifles. I have to say The Society has lost a valuable resource.
My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Ken!

A real researcher. We used to exchange information on DCP marked Model 14 1/2 44/40 rifles.

RIP Ken.

That is sad news. I have been searching for a copy of his book, to no avail.

I am sorry to hear this news of Ken Blauch.
I acquired his book last year at Cornell Publications:

Condolences to all that knew him. Sad to see another hard working author pass on. Imagine the hardships they endured researching so much at the time so the rest of us could learn from their writings. Unfortunately, this will be lost in the next while. RIP Ken.
