Can't insert photos

I have been a member since 2010. The reason I do not have more posts is because I can't insert photos.
I just spent one hour on a Post, 15 minutes on the text and 45 on trying to insert a photo.
Why can't insert from my computer???????????????????? Copy and paste won't work..Attachments won't work Heeeelp....Jim

You click Attachment, Add Files and Place inline?

Click Attachments,,,Click Add Files..Pictures are shown. Click on photo to insert, No Place inline/ No left click, no right click. No pictures as you can see....Jim

I'm just not following I've never clicked ON an image...
I write this and move down to the next section and click attachments, then I click add file, (then select that file from the computer and click select/ok, then submit. Place inline works as well before submit, I've never did the drag thing I doubt that does work.
