Is my BDL rare?

I have acquired a Remington Model 700...300 Ultra Mag. The numbers on the rifle match the numbers on the box it came in. The box says BDL. It has a synthetic stock and stainless barrel. I have gotten many comments that it prob. isn't a BDL because of the syn stock. One person told me that it could be a BDL, but it is unlikely. What are people's thoughts on this?

I'm not at home right now. I will find out though. Is there a reason you say this? I was wondering if I could look it up somehow by the serial number to determine what it really is.
