??? I have just acquired this 1858 Army .44. Been trying to determine if arsenal refit/refinished or just old "blue" embelishment years ago. The overall finish seems slightly dull but all inspector's marks and writing(s) are crisp and clear. Numbers match from a 62xxx number for the year 18????. Any help in identifying the inspectors marks "A" right side of frame and barrel, "L" left side barrel and opposite "W" on frame and below recoil shield. Appears to be a "B ? " in cartouche left grip and on the grip bottoms a "c" on each half. Other single letters are present throughout the gun but the same letters. Cyl, loading lever etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I await your responses. Cheers from your Northern neighbor. thx

Apparently my pics are too heavy and cannot download . When I figure it out I will post some pics. thx.
