mr. semmer - info on 1882

Post by paul harm »

I'm hoping Mr. Semmer will read this . I have what I believe is a 1882 - serial number 12883 , pattern damascus barrels , no engraving anywhere . The rib has double screw holes for sights - the man who owns it claims it was his fathers and there was a rifle barrel liner for it at one time . The sights , hammers , and extractors are missing . I was posting this so you could add it to your records . Paul

Yes , it does have the two holes at each end - don't have the gun at this time but the man who owns it claimed his great uncle bought it new and it did at one time have the barrel liner . Paul
