Model 700 BDL Bolt Help

I need some help with my Model 700. History of rifle: I bought new last year…it is a 7mm Ultra Mag…has the J lock, and is engraved with like a ram and other swirls and what not. Last year I put 10 rounds through it with zero problems…this year I went to check it out and it shot great…dead on center touching holes…sub 1â€

The hole you talk about is the rivet for the extractor and can be found on all 700 rifles. Your gun should be sent back to the factory with a letter stating the problems you have encountered. You could contact Remington and see what they advise prior to sending the rifle.
