Does the 300 Ultra Mag have too much velocity to shoot the 125 grain nosler ballistic tip bullet accuately, since the bullet is so short?

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to shoot such a light bullet? I got tired of getting pounded when sighting the gun in with 180 grain bullets so I switched to 150's. It made a night and day difference and you still have a lot of energy out to 400-500 yards.
