strange rem 511p scoremaster pick up today questions?

so today I picked up a remington 511p scoremaster .22 single shot xrr so dec 1946 it has no taps for a rear sights like other peeps but it also doesn't have taps or even a spot for the peep on the rear of the receiver. The next thing that stands out is the tip of the barrel screws off. front sights are strange too. I'll post some pics in a bit, thanks for any info

i think the threaded barrel is for a silencer.

The M-511 & 511P were clip fed 22's. It's my opinion a 511P barrel has been put on a M-510 single shot receiver. Thus, no drill or tap for the peep sight.
leadchucker is right the barrel is threaded for a silencer.
