Model 12-CS

According to factory records your Model 12 was made in 1917. Some Marbles sights were available from the factory, but your buckhorn sight is not shown as an option in the Remington catalog rom that era. It was probably added later.

Roy Marcot & I are nearly done with a book on Remington 22 rifles. It will have the years of production by serial # included. I don't know where that list is now in print. Th

Model 12 continued

Tinman:

My computer froze in mid sentence... The serial #s on the Model 12s probably started with #1 (#26 has been examined). The highest # I have seen is 832,xxx which according to the barrel code was made in October, 1936. That's one month after the Model 121 prduction began.

Hope all is well in MI. I used to live at Higgins Lake.
