Well, if memory serves me right, that is a Model 11 sportsman I believe. Humpback browning looking receiver. I see these go for $200 - $300 on auction sites. They were introduced about 1905 and were Rems 1st auto loader, almost identical in design to the A-5"s being made at the same time. No help on the year from me, I'm on my phone and can't open another window to search it.

Your gun is a Model No. 11A "Standard" grade made in 1914. From the 1913-14 Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. catalogue --
There is not much market for these old Remington "square back" Remington autoloaders in "Standard" grade. Guns like your languish in pawn shops around here at $200.

"The Sportsman" was the three-shot version of the John M. Browning designed autoloader that Remington produced. "The Sportsman" was introduced in 1930 in 20-gauge, with 16- and 12-gauge "The Sportsman" added in 1931. From the June 1931 issue of Field & Stream --

And that Dave is why I am not the researcher! Looks like the rounded pistol grip may be a dead give away if you don't have a serial #. Also looks like the sportsman has a more tapered foregrip.
