I Have a pump 22lr with union metallic cartridge company and pedderson patent dates last jan/9/1910 sn# RW 152111, Round barrel. remington says possible made 1912.Just wanted to know more about this beautiful rifle..

You have a Remington model 12-A that was made in the middle of 1912. The model 12 came in several grades. 12- A,B,C,D,E,F. The 12-A was the only one with a round barrel. The others all had octagon barrels. They were manufactured from 1909-1936, but there were a few scragglers after the final date with an ending production of just over 830,000 of them made.

Thank you for the info. Did alot of the model 12s have union metallic cartridge company on the barrel ?

The UMC stamping came into the picture in 1911 and was completely wiped out in 1927.
