Model 11 Shotgun stock
Model 11 Shotgun stock
I have a model 11 shotgun that i inherited from my grandfather. The serial number is 70070. I am trying to replace the wood on this shotgun and the only stocks i can locate have a pistol grip. However, the mounting tangs for the stock on my gun are both straight and will not accommodate the pistol grip style stock. My question is was the model 11 ever manufactured with a straight stock? And if so, can someone recommend a supplier of this stock?
Re: Model 11 Shotgun stock
yes it was, and no I can't.
They aren't extremely common. I'd love to have one, just because. I assume you don't have any wood.
I would watch Gunbroker, Ebay, etc for a stock. Maybe call and talk to Numrich Gun Parts. Ask Remington, but don't expect a lot of help. They list parts suppliers on their site.
