[Cow Town Bill]

I'm brand new to this site so foregive me if I am asking a question that everybody know the answer to. Can the factory records be obtained for a specfic gun? I have what I believe is a F grade Remington 11-48 12 gauge skeet gun made in 1950. Can the Factory records be accessed to find whether it is really an F grade? The receiver has beautiful game scene engraving but it doesn't appear to have the grade marked. Sorry but I don't have any pictures at this time.

There are serial number record but not by grade. You will have yo have pictures to determine grade. Jay Huber RSA

If you have a game scene, it would be an F grade if it is factory engraving. D grades were scroll engraving. There should also be some engraving on the barrel. Sorry, I can't give you any pointers as to how you might confirm it is factory engraving.
