Recently purchased 1858 New Model Army in good condition except missing front sight and loading lever retainer. Anyone know where I can purchase these parts? And also looking for year of manufacturer of gun ... serial number 24860. Many thanks for your assistance!

Am not able to tell you the y.o.m , but... Dixie Gun Works has the parts you need. They may even have some original parts. I bought several original parts for my New Model Navy. The price is good and the folks there are nice to deal with. hope this helps you.
