121 Fieldmaster Q's

I just aquired a 121 Fieldmaster 22 GA rifle. According to the blue book serialization section it was made in Jan. 1950, but I could not find any other information including value. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Model 121 slide action was made 1936-1954 with total production about 200,000 rifles. It was made in three calibers or gauges, 22 long rifle which includes short and long cartridges, 22 special or WRF, and 22 shot or smoothbore. A fine to excellent standard grade rifle of the first caliber would sell for 350-450, the 22 special and the smoothbore would sell for 500-700. The Model 121 was also produced in several grades having different levels of fancy wood, checkering and engraving. These high grade rifles wound be many times more valuable than the standard grade mentioned above. Condition, grade and caliber would determine the value of your rifle. ken
