Special Remington 241 engraved by three Remington engravers

I got this gun in a trade 12 or 15 years ago from a gentleman in Iowa who has since passed. It was owned by a long time Remington employee Henry Hennings. Mr.Hennings had fellow Remington employees Bob Runge, Jack Caswell and Carl Ennis engrave the rifle. Left side Jack Caswell, Right side Bob Runge and top and bottom were done by Carl Ennis. I have arrows pointed to Caswell's signature a "C" and Runge's "R" but can't find Ennis's signature.

Gun has nicely checkered but standard grade American Walnut Stocks. I got in touch with Mr.Hennings grand son back 10 years ago. He said he remembered the gun in his grandfathers closet and he didn't recall when or why it was sold. The grandson was still working at Remington at that time.

The gun is pictured on the cover of ( Remington .22 Rimfire Rifles) by John Gyde & Roy Marcot. There is also an article in the book about the rifle !!
