Not sure what i have here. Early 1908 Model 11?

Post by TexasRob »

Looking for a little help from the experts. I have what i think might be a 1908 early model 11, Expert grade "F" with the french grey finish. I am basing this on the the fact that the serial number is engraved (not stamped) and it appears to be the rare french grey finish, which would make it the top grade. It is all scrollwork (no nature scene) all over the receiver and the top of the barrel only mentions the 1900 through 1903 dates. Picture of barrel stamping, engraved serial # and two more pics of the only other two marking I could find along with some other pics.

Any help is appreciated!

Rob,

I may be dreaming but believe I saw your post where Researcher answered your grade question as to this gun being a Grade No. 4 "Tournament" Remington Autoloading Shotgun.

Just did't want to leave this thread blank in case others searched it.
