Model 10 1913 History

Post by lchance62 » Sat Feb 23, 2019 1:00 pm

I recently bought a model 10 at a gun show. The barrel is 23 inches with 3 grooves on the bottom.
I would like to determine if this gun came from the factory like this or if this was an attempt to convert a field gun to a trench gun by a previous owner? No US stamped on receiver. Serial number on barrel and receiver match. No thread marks (in the grooves) from attaching a bayonet

Serial number is 104XXX
