In the 1980's I was a firearm's dealer, I received a catalog from a distributor, in that catalog they advertised a model 1100 special field model in 12, 20, 24, 28, 32, and 410 gauge, these small gauges were made just for them and they included a case of shells with the purchase of the 24 and 32 gauges. I purchased one of the 28 gauge guns, but much to my chagrin I did not purchase the other small gauges. First question can anyone here tell me the name of the distributer that had a special run of Model 1100 made? Next question can anyone tell me how many of the small gauge guns were made? Yes I am interested in finding one of them in 24 and 32 gauge, but I don't hold out a lot of hope. Any information would be appreciated.
