Another 1100 Inquiry

Post by Ducs »

Hello Remington Experts, I recently acquired a 1100 12 Gauge Trap model with a 28" interchangeable choke barrel. I've been trying to determine production date, but I can't seem to find a way to decode the serial number as it doesn't follow the published numbering scheme. I would also like to find out more about this firearm's configuration. I am attaching pictures below. Please let me know what you think about this firearm. Thank You in advance.

Receiver is a 2-3/4" version, made from 1968 to 1974. Best guess 1970. Barrel was made January 2002.
What could have happened... did.

The barrel, however, was custom choked by I believe Stan Baker (decd.) in Washington.

If you post some photos or do a search on Stan Baker on Trapshooters.com you can get a much better education than I provide.

Good Luck, Will
