Source for hammer screws

Post by No Deer »

Does anybody know of any current source for in stock, hammer screws for an 1889 double? I have found a couple of sources, however they have none in stock.

Garland Jackson ? He's a RSA member. Brad Bachleder - he past away but his son and wife still run the gunsmithing service in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Thanks Paul. I talked with Garland Jackson... very interesting guy to talk to, spent over a half hour on the phone with him. Found some screws that fit, not originals, but will do for now, at Dick Williams Gunshop in Saginaw.

never though of Dick. He re-blued a auto-5 for me. Came out real nice with a great price and turn around time.
