Remington 700 Classic Discontinued

According to a response on the Remington website Help Center, the Model 700 Classic has been discontinued in 2006.

I have been collecting these over the years and now have at least one NIB (new in box) rifle for each model year since 1981.

My question is, am I the only in the universe who has an interest in collecting these rifles? If not, does anyone else care that this great program is now ending?

I'm another calssics fan. I have a .221 fireball and a .300 savage both NIB. IMHO these were the nicest looking 700's.
