Can anyone help me date my Rem 721 .270 rifle?

Hello,

My name is Mark and I just became a member about 10 minutes ago! : )

I was wondering if someone could please help me date a rifle that is very dear to my heart. It's the rifle I used to shoot my very first deer when I was a kid.

I'm going to try and show the markings from a couple of photos. (Both sides of the barrel)

P.S. I'd love to know what the stampings mean too, so I can learn.

Darn it! They are saying my photos are too big and I don't know how to make them smaller?

I will try and describe them! On one side of the barrel, it has R.E.P. in a circle, then to the right of it, it has a clover, and then a sideways diamond, if that makes sense!
Then on the other side, it has a box with a line going thru it from bottom left of box to top right of box, then R W W, then this funny mark )( .

That's pretty impressive!

So does this mean that my rifle is from Nov. 1950 ? 11/50 ?
