Hammer strikes on magazine in Model Six

Is it normal for my Model Six( 30-06) to leave hammer marks on the back of the magazine? Its not caving a dent but it was quite a surprise to see. Also, I'm getting click bangs wit hCCI200 primers. I think its due to the light , small diameter inertial firing pin( spring loaded). Is there a better primer for this rifle? I'm guessing a softer cup would be better.CCi's are prety hard...

Is your model six a pump gun?
