Rem model 12F

Post by 1944collector »

Hello
Newby here. Have this Rem model 12F and has been in the family since its beginnings we think.
Is there a way to perhaps find out where and to whom it was shipped to from factory records, by the serial number think 1911. The rifle is not mint it is a used model 12F.
Does anyone know how many 12F models were made?
Thanks in advance for any info.
Mike

Your M/12 does not have several of the features of the F grade. I couldn't read the serial # but it should be engraved (like written letters). The stock quality and shape were definitely not with a M/12F grade. The fore end should not be grooved on an F grade. Sorry for this info, but....
