Model 14 / 14-1/2 Full Collection?

Post by jimbocious »

I love the model 14 and 14-1/2 family (no interest in 141s though). Does anyone have a full collection of 12 guns (25/30/32/35/38-40/44-40) both rifles and carbines? What would such a collection be worth, assuming average condition of the guns overall? Just curious.

When I joined the RSA I was advised NOT to provide appraisals on the forum for "several" reasons and in this case there would be far to many variables to factor in. I'll break with tradition and say one hundred twelve dollars for the lot.

I've bought a few of these rifles recently - really love the 14 carbines. I think a conservative guess for unaltered guns in very good condition might be $800 each for the Model 14 rifles, $1,600 each for the carbines, $2,500 each for the Model 14 1/2 rifles and $4,000 each for the carbines. So a total of about $35K is my wild guess.
