Remington Rifles Sent To Russia In 1918

Post by militarywriter »

Dear Forum Readers,
I'm attempting to verify information that a shipment of an estimated 115,000
Remington rifles were dispatched to Russia on the U.S. Army Transport Ship Thomas in early 1918 which landed in Vladivostok. U.S. Army soldiers forming the AEF Siberia were also on this ship as well. I was instructed by the historian from Remington Arms to place a request on this site.
