Remington model 14 magazine parts
Hi, new here and I may have posted this in the wrong forum the first time so I'll put it here too. I'm looking for a magazine ring and plug for a model 14 in 32 caliber. I've found some in 35 caliber but I think those have a larger diameter? Any help would be appreciated if anyone knows where I can locate these parts!
Re: Remington model 14 magazine parts
Hey!
Magazine rings & magazine plugs are the same for all calibers!
I have these parts, they are actually pretty readily available.
You may contact me directly: nambujim@charlotte.twcbc.com
OH.............you do know that the magazine ring rotates into place??
$23 for both parts plus $8 shipping, if you need a magazine plug screw that
would be another $6. Shipping in small priority mail box.

Re: Remington model 14 magazine parts
Hi Jim: New to the board. I have been a collector of all kinds of firearms forever, i think. Aquired a remington 14 in an auction. Not sure if it operated properly or not when i received it, so i did what i always do before i test functionality. Dissasembled , thourghly cleaned, and put back together. Boy, after 3 hours of work, i'm tossing the towel in. The 14 won't cycle (bolt only comes back about 1/2 way with the trigger group in) , and the trigger won't drop. At this point, i think I'm ready to forward for a "what is up with this gun" and see if you can get it to operate. I don't have any wallhangers in my collection, and don't want to start that with this one. Do you do this type of inspection/repair? If so, please forward an address and i'll pack it up. thanks - kirk

Kirk!
Just responded to the email you sent me directly, I will need to have the
gun on my bench BUT you're not alone when it comes to having difficulty
re-assembling these rifles. Parts exit without you knowing it or a pin can
come out or a pin can be in backwards, the list goes on.
Also, these rifles are very "parts specific" meaning all the parts for your
rifle were hand fit for that specific rifle so keep them all together and we'll see if we can get it back together for you.
