Good day all,
I am hoping someone can help me confirm that what I have is a Spanish copy of a Remington Rolling Block Baby Carbine. I am pretty confident but hey there is so much I do not know.
This is chambered in 44-40 and is marked B.O.P.E. is Batalhao de Operacoes Policiais Especiais. The military police in Rio de Janeiro. The barrel is 22" and it has a trapdoor butt plate much like the El' Tigre 92's that the Spanish built.
The bore on it is very nice and I am so excited to shoot it.
Thanks to all that can help.

Re: Rolling Block Baby Carbine 44-40 Spanish Copy
I suggest that you put this thread onto the Pre 1898 section. That's where most of the Rolling Block experts hang out.
It was pure chance that I looked in here.
