Remington rolling block no. 2

Post by ccdnh88 »

Hi, first time posting, I recently purchased a no. 2 RB ser# 38xxx, Remington Arms Co. Ilion NY USA. Bottom of barrel stamped 25-25, I have not done a chamber cast, guessing it is a 25-25 Stevens, cannot find anything on the 25-25 RB on the net. Anyone know of any other #2s in this caliber. Any help would be appreciated.

The Remington catalog of 1902 lists the #2 Rolling Block as being available in various
rim fire and center fire calibers. It does show that it was available in C F 25-20, 25-21, & 25-25 Stevens. As well as 25-10 Stevens R F.
Sorry, I can't help with reloading information.
