32-20 rolling block

i inherited a 32-20 rolling block from an uncle it marked remington arms co. ilion n.y.u.s.a. on the top of the bbl and has a series of patent dates that read may 1804, may-june 11,nov dec 24, dec1872,sept 1871 there may be more dates in the info but its worn were the days of the months would be. the months and years are correct. serial number is on the botton of the bbl and trigger guard strap it is 36450 between the serial no. and the forearm lug is the number 7. ahead of the forearm it is marked 32w it has a metal cap on the snobbel. barrel length is 24.5 inches. can anybody tell me when it was made and what model it is? this is the gun i learned to shoot with and i'd like to know some of its history. thanks gene
