I'm writing these lines from Argentina. My uncle has a Remington rolling block rifle made in 1906, he obtained it after a police raid in nearly 1950. It has a peculiarity: it was transformed into a 32 gauge "rolling block shotgun" by a friend he had in the army (he just enlarged the bore of the barrel, which is the original). So I would like to know which was the orginal caliber of the rifle. My uncle describes me the cartridge as a 30-03 or 30-06. I hope you can help me with the info I gave you. The 32 gauge is known here as 14mm.
