Well, I'm late to the Rolling Block party and being very uninformed regarding military Rolling Blocks I ordered a copy of George Layman's "Remington Rolling Block Military Rifles of the World" and received it in the mail today. I just spent about 3 hours reading and I must say that Mr. Layman has done an outstanding job.
The book is well written and illustrated and IMHO is a "must have" if you are interested in military Rolling Blocks.
