I have an old Rolling Block that I am using for target shooting, it is a 45-70 with a ser.#72930, there are no pat#'s on the rifle, I would like to get some type of date to the rifle, the barrel has been changed to half oct and half round, it was full oct but due to BP left from shooting it damaged the barrel. I am, all so looking for a tang to mount to this rifle.
