.43 Spanish Sling Mounts

I own a .43 Spanish Rolling Block Carbine. I am wanting to replace the barrel band with one that has the sling mount. I have located a middle barrel band from a long rifle and I need to know if the two are interchangable.

The middle barrel band from the rifle is not interchangable with the rolling block carbine. I have three carbines in 43 spanish and tried to put the middle barrel band from two rifles on the carbines, the rifle band is to small to go over the carbine forearm. The only barrel band that came close was one from the 1867 navy carbine. Dixie Gun Works used to sell this barrel band, but it is not listed in there 2004 catalog.
