Remington 1-1/2 "Rolling Block"

Post by Don Kenna »

I’ve tried to search the forum for this one without success. I have a 1-1/2 RRB rifle that has been rechambered and relined (per my instruction) to .44/40 Winchester. I own a copy of Roy Marcot’s excellent book on RRB sporting rifles, and the chapter on the Remington 1-1/2 rifle is excellent. However, I would like to know if the RSA membership has had any forum discussion on this model. Could some of longer membership than mine recall if that has occurred and direct me to the discussion thread or threads?

Don't recall the topic of #1 1/2 Rolling Blocks coming up, but I am a fan of the model! Wish I had more myself, but they don't show up for sale often, and when they do they're usually .38 Long RF or .32 Long RF. I have one in .22 RF and one in .32-20 WCF.
