Slotterbeck Remington?

I agree Jim. Definitely not a "standard #1" action as the seller said. But should be plenty strong for the caliber, and a gun I'd love to own. Just too much money in my opinion, although Slotterbeck should definitely bring a premium. Just not sure it's that much premium.

Seller also states the sighting cut on top of the receiver was a Slotterbeck addition, looks like a Remington shotgun receiver top to me.

I agree again. Typical of many sellers that attempt to justify things to enhance their sale. He'd be better off being honest, as he comes off as crooked, or ignorant of Remington Rolling Blocks.
