Does any know what this rifle is? year, maker anything. The plate says WARRANTED , the barrel says Remington (see photos) I'm at a loss for it's period of use,(yes there is a old ramrod stuck in it)

I have tried several times to attach a photo, every time it says file exceeds 245kb, how do I make file smaller? I sent a photo same way earlier today with no issue?!?!?

Your rifle is a gunsmith's creation of the 1840-60 time period, using a barrel purchased from E. Remington & Sons. This company supplied barrels to "the trade" as a major product. The lock was purchased separately, as it is a common, mass produced, cheap part. It was then up to the gunsmith's craftsmanship on how fine a firearm he produced.
