I just purchased a gorgeous Remington Hepburn in 50-140. Individuals that are fairly knowledgeable about Heburns believe it is the only Remington Hepburn made in that caliber. It has a 30 7/16 inch heavy full octagon barrel that is 1 3/16 inch from flat to flat. I've attached some pictures. What is the thought about there being more than one of these?

Hi Vernz,
Join the American Single Shot Rifle (ASSRA.com) forum. Post those photos and your question there and I bet you will get a reply, and a few offers to buy it!
I could not find a reference to a 50-140 in my Hepburn book, but there were 50-70 and 50 -90's made. You are correct tho', that is a gorgeous example. How's the bore?

I saw several of these at the Tulsa Show last weekend. Seems to be just a smidgen out of my retired Sgt's disposable income (wife's allowance). I am hoping to make a nice RB shooter out of some parts picked up over the last few years.
