Remington Model 52
OK, if the Remington Model 51 is the pocket pistol we all know and love, and the Model 53 was the big .45 acp version with a hammer for the Navy, what was the Model 52?
Re: Remington Model 52
The short answer is, the Model-52 is a modified M-51 in 380 cal. with an exposed hammer, similar to the M-53 in 45acp. When the Navy called for trials they only wanted a 45cal. with an exposed hammer, so as far as we know there was only one, what is called the M-52 produced.
There are a couple of articles with more information, but I don't have them at hand.
