F.X. Leyendecker American Marksmen & Sportsmen Series

Post by Drew Hause »

Remington commissioned F.X. Leyendecker (younger brother of J.C. Leyendecker) in 1919 to produce an "American Marksmen" series (6) and "American Sportsmen" series (6). The theme was "Remington UMC For Shooting Right". The ads appeared in sporting magazines including Outing, Outers' Recreation, Hunter-Trader-Trapper, and even the Saturday Evening Post!
