I have seen this post repeated several times. I have a Remington UMC, John M. Browning Model 11 12ga shotgun from my Grandfather. There are no manufacture codes on the barrel. Serial number 115108. I would like to know when it was manufactured.
I would like suggestions as to where I can get a replacement forestock and rear stock for this gun. My other option is to work down the list in the parts/service List.
Thanks
Grandfather's shotgun
Re: Grandfather's shotgun
I believe it was made in 1912.
I don't believe finding the wood for a 11 is difficult
for example on gunbroker now here's a nice forestock for $35.
